2008 NEC Changes - Classroom Classes

LERC again has developed a specialized NEC changes class for those with "SPECIALITY LICENSES". Yep, that means you don't need to learn about those changes to the code that don't have anything to do with your job. Check with our UPCOMING CLASSES section for a list of dates.

NEW 2008 CODE CLASSES NOW AVAILABLE

LERC has been accepted in the below list of states for ON-LINE 2008 NEC code classes. Some states have specific requirements for code classes, some will include sections on that states specific changes to the code upon adoption. The completion certificates will be issued and mailed to the state listed first in your class registration.

NEW NFPA BOOKSTORE NOW OPEN - ON-LINE

After years of people asking, LERC is proud to announce that we are now selling many of the NFPA Standards used by the Limited Energy Electrical field. We now sell the Standards used for NICET exams for Fire Alarm, Sprinkler, Inspection of Sprinkler Systems among others. WE WILL NOT SELL OUR OWN BOOKS ON LINE. You will still need to get them from one of our retailers.

NICET Training Classes

Throughout our network of affiliates, NICET 1-2 and NICET 3-4 classes are being offered. NOW IN ALL AREAS WE ARE NOW TEACHING SPECIAL HAZARDS LEVELS 1-2 & IN MOST AREAS AUTOMATIC SPRINKLER 1-4 IS ALSO BEING OFFERED. PRIVATE CLASSES FOR GROUPS ARE AVAILABLE FOR ALL THESE, CALL FOR INFO.

Check the Class Schedule page for a state-by-state listing of currently scheduled NICET training courses. NICET Fire Alarm training classes are available in all states.

OnLine CLASSES

LERC is proud to announce a new venture for those who cannot make our regular classes. LERC is now offering a number of classes ON-LINE. To access these just click on the ON-LINE COURSES button under our logo on this page. Most of these classes well require the student to have a 2008 NEC and also download a PDF that is used for answering some of the quiz questions. If you complete a course with a 70% (75% in Oregon) or higher you well be sent a certificate and your roster well be sent to Oregon for credit on your license, since Idaho gives equal credit for classes it well count for their licensees also.

Oregon Training Classes

All classes listed in the menu at the left are offered by Limited Energy Resource Center and conducted at Oregon's Clackamas Community College. Courses offering 16 hour CEU credit are normally conducted over a weekend.

Sponsored Classes

Sponsored Classes provide employers an opportunity to schedule special training classes for small groups of employees (10 or more people). Classes offered in Oregon include:
