CCTV Design and Application
| This video based course covers the main aspects of CCTV design starting with basic video theory and going through to site assessment. Each topic is followed with a discussion for clarification. The class is held at Clackamas Community Colleges Apprenticeship Training Center on Saturdays on a 6 person minimum basis and is 16 hours. Upon completion and passing an exam the NAAA will certify a person as a CCTV Designer. The class carries 16 CEUs for Oregon License renewal. |

Cost includes the reference manual. This class can be privately sponsored for a minimum of 10 or more persons.
CCTV Service and Installation
This is a video based course that is certified in Oregon for 16 CEUs for license renewal. The course covers everything from video theory, through cameras, lenses, transmission types, monitors, positioning devices, switching equipment and documentation. It even has a section on recording devices. At the completion of the course attendees take an exam. Those passing the exam with a 70% or higher receive Certification from the National Alarm Association of America as a CCTV Service & Installation Technician. Cost includes a 300+ page reference book. Classes are scheduled on a need basis for 6 or more students, and are held at Clackamas Community Colleges Apprenticeship Training Center. Saturdays.
